Behcet's disease
Behçet's disease is a rare, chronic inflammatory disease that causes inflammation of the body's blood vessels (vasculitis), affecting the mucous membranes, skin, eyes, and joints.
Most patients have mucocutaneous lesions in an early stage of the disease, and ocular and central nervous system manifestations may appear several years after diagnosis. There is no cure, but there are treatments to lessen the symptoms.
